FirstHome
is a first-time homebuyer program for economically challenged working
households in Will County.
FirstHome
is designed to help close the gap between income and housing
affordability in Will County for working households who are projected to
be at or under 70% of the area median income for the upcoming 12 months.
How
to Apply

Contact
a FirstHome IHDA
lender to pre-qualify for the program. The IHDA lenders are
the ONLY lenders working the the FirstHome
Program. The lender will
prepare a full grant request package and then make the formal
request to the Will County Center for Community Concerns (WCCCC) on
behalf of the homebuyer.

If
approved for a grant, Will County Center for Community Concerns
will register you for a required seminar.

Select
a home, enter into a sales contract, provide documents to an IHDA
lender and the lender will contact WCCCC.
